Agile Model Development Process

This is a software development model where delivery of the software happens frequently while customer satisfaction holds the highest priority. AGILE methodology is a practice that promotes continuous iteration of development and testing throughout the software development life cycle of the project.

This model advocates adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continual improvement and it encourages flexible responses to change.

The values and principles espoused in this manifesto were derived from and underpin a broad range of software development frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.

The agile software development emphasizes on four core values:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools

  • Working software over comprehensive documentation

  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation

  • Responding to change over following a plan

Agile Methodology

There are various methods present in agile testing, and those are listed below:

  •  Scrum
  • Crystal Methodologies

  • Dynamic Software Development Method (DSDM)

  • Feature Driven Development (FDD)

  • Lean Software Development

  • Extreme Programming (XP)

Benefits of Agile Model:

  • The changes in requirement can be handled pretty easy.

  • The delivery of software happens within the couple of weeks or to couple of months also.

  • The meeting between Customer and the Software Dev. Company happens on almost daily basis.

  • Effective way to communicate within the product development team is face to face communication.

  • Constant pace is indefinitely.

  • Continues excellence reported from day 1.

  • Good return on investment for the customer.

  • Testing happens very frequently.

  • Collaborative approach (Team Work) is requiring for the delivery of the product.

  • We encourage the automation tool to the testing for the next release.
